Over the past few weeks, the Italian Honor Society invited all of West Milford High School to collect goods for the Strengthen our Sisters Women’s Shelter, which provides a home for battered women and young girls in the area. These women have very little to nothing when they arrive at the shelter, and appreciate any help they can get. In support of a brighter future for these women, Mrs. Certosimo led the Italian Honor Society in collecting clothing and basic needs from students and teachers alike. We delivered the goods to these women, who were grateful to accept everything that the students and faculty at West Milford High School were able to donate.
