West Milford High School wrapped up the month of May with one of its most beloved traditions, Highlander Day, held on May 30, 2025. The annual event once again delivered a day of food, games, and school spirit that gave students a well-deserved break before heading into the final stretch of the school year.
The atmosphere on campus felt more like a festival than a typical Friday, with food tables lined up offering everything from refreshing drinks to indulgent desserts. Ice cream was a crowd favorite, especially as students tried to beat the late spring heat. Lines stretched long as students sampled different snacks, grabbed cold treats, and enjoyed lunch outside with friends.
Several school clubs hosted stands throughout the event, each offering creative activities, games, and chances to support different causes. These student-run booths gave Highlander Day a personalized touch and highlighted the involvement and enthusiasm of the entire school community.
From start to finish, Highlander Day 2025 was a success, filled with laughter, friendly competition, and lots of ice cream. As students returned to class the following Monday, they did so with full stomachs, sun-kissed smiles, and fresh memories of another unforgettable day at WMHS.
