On June 2 the seniors and juniors watched a DUI accident reenactment that was organized by athletic director Mr.Trentacosta and the driving club. Seniors Dylan Preziosi, Laurel Space, Sarah Rottenberg, and Ally Gruber along with physical education teacher Mr. Lambert, put on an outstanding performance on the consequences of driving under the influence.
West Milford Police Department, the State Police, the EMT squad, and multiple West Milford fire companies volunteered to help spread awareness about the effects drunk driving or impaired driving can have on drivers or other people in the community. We hope that this demonstration will encourage seniors and any other students who are getting in their cars for graduation celebrations or summer fun to make safe choices and stay alive! West Milford is #abovetheinfluence!
