Have you ever wanted to catch a leprechaun? These little tricky and Irish beings are incredibly hard to trap, but with a little bit of creativity and everyday items you just maybe able to lure one in. Here is how to get started:
- The basics of the Trap: One thing to remember about leprechauns is that they love gold and anything with a shine to it. The key is to create a trap that will lure them with their defenses down and desires up.
- Repurposing Household items: I’d recommend looking around your house for some potential materials like cardboard, glitter, and gold coins. A shoebox can make a perfect hidden pitfall with aluminum foil and some glitter to trick a leprechaun right into your very own trap.
- Some Do’s and Don’ts: Make sure you leave out some of their favorite food like Lucky Charms, potatoes, and Skittles. You’ll also want to make sure the area is well lit so they can see all of the gold they think they’ll be able to get. If you do happen to catch one, make sure you release them back out into the woods so they’re safe.
