The cross country teams’ seasons have concluded but not without bringing home some hardware. Both the boys and girls did great this year and had many accomplishments. 

The girls cross country team won their race at Garret Mountain this year. Congratulations to their head coach, Andrea Jones, who was named the Big North Independence Conference Coach of the Year. She was also named the Passaic County Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year. Congratulations to Krista Keller, Sasikan Patsawatho, Sophie Ferris, and Jessica Orsino on finishing their seasons strong at the Doc Braver invitational at Darlington. The team advanced through state sectionals, finishing 5th and advanced to groups. The team did not make it past that point, but congratulations to Ciara Clinton as she placed 25th overall in Group 2. Ciara was Conference and County Champ, finishing first in both races. Ciara Clinton, Brenna Traverso, Amanda Harvey, and Lauren Frey all were 1st Team All-Conference and County. Madison Friedman was 2nd Team All Conference and County. Annabeth Jones was an honorable mention in counties. Congratulations to all, thank you seniors, and everyone, for your hard work this season!

The boys cross country team started out their season with winners from the Magee Memorial Classic. Congratulations to Colin Menier, Michael McCloskey, Matteo Balestrieri, and Cameron Piecuch. The team also took fourth in the conference with a second- place finish from Colin Menier. Michael McCloskey earned 2nd Team All-Conference. The boys later took two out of three to end their dual meet season. The boys took 15th overall in their Group 2 Championships at Holmdel. Congratulations to the boys on a hard fought season.
