Fantastic Toys:

Silly bands- The trendy little rubber bands that took shape when unworn were worth more than life itself.

Webkinz- The Beanie Babies of the early 2000’s were a revolutionary thing. Each plushy toy came with a secret code that brought your Webkinz to life online.

Tamagotchi- They were every elementary school teacher’s worst nightmare. These little egg shaped devices held a virtual pet that cried for attention every hour, even in class.

Furby- The creepy, big-eyed, alien like creatures blinked and made noises. Nobody ever knew what they were supposed to do.

Polly Pocket- Polly lived in her miniature home. She came with magnetic clothing and a small yellow Labrador. She was pretty amazing and was like a teeny-tiny Barbie doll.

Skip It- Every 90’s kid loved the Skip It. It was perfect for the jump-rope challenged. Kids would put the Skip It around their ankles and skip around the long plastic ball.

iDog Robot- It came a little later past the 90’s. This robotic dog shook its head and wagged its tail when music played.

Bratz Dolls- Yasmine, Jade, Sasha, and Chloe are the fashionistas who come with detachable feet and stylish clothing as well as too much make-up.

Game Cube- The Game Cube was a simple gaming console released by Nintendo. Popular games included Luigi’s Mansion, when the skinny Mario Brother saves the famous Mario from evil silly ghosts. It’s basically Ghost Buster on crack.

American Girl Dolls- They are the crème de la crème of all plastic dolls.

Pokemon Cards and YuGiOh- This was the start of a long dark road for anime lovers.

My Little Pony- This show is still around so I don’t know why it’s even on this list, but these plastic ponies with decorations on their hindquarters were pretty cute.

Amazing Shows:              

Blue’s Clues- Steve was better than Joe, everyone knows that. Blue and Steve were the perfect childhood companions who jumped into pictures.

Rocket Power- All the kids in this show were extremely athletic and the super cool kids everyone wanted to be.

Kim Possible- The teen spy was a good student, cheerleader, and secret agent. She friend-zoned her sidekick, but ended up falling for him anyways.

Dragon Tales- Two kids found a magical dragon scale and were transported and has magical adventure with their new scaly flying friends.

Little Bill- Why was he bald? Did he have cancer like Caillou?

Bob the Builder- When his voice changed, everything went downhill, just like Blue’s Clues.

Lizzie McGuire-A typical teenage girl who thinks the world the is out to get her. She also friend-zoned the boy she ends up with.

That’s So Raven- She had the perfect sass and style. Raven was everyone’s favorite psychic.

Sister  Sister- Tia and Tamara Mowry were spunky and smart with their completely opposite adoptive parents. After being separated at birth and adopted by two separate people, both families come together for the sake of the girls.

Cat Dog- What happens when a cat and dog are born conjoined by their stomachs? They become known as CatDog. With their different animalistic instincts they always find a way to cause havoc with their animal buddies.

Powerpuff Girls- Sugar and Spice made super kick-butt toddler superheroes. All this started because the professor made a mix up with chemicals.
