The varsity softball team defeated rival Lakeland yestyerday 6-2. The win gave the Highlanders the Big North Conference championship. Haley Paladino had the game winning hit with her 2 RBI single. Erin Witherspoon had 3 RBIs in the win. Missi Townsend recorded her win with 12 strikeouts and only allowing 3 hits. Great job Highlanders great team win!
