I’m sure that many were saddened when the Fuddruckers on Route 23 shut down due to a silly discarded cigarette causing a fire. It was also disheartening for it to be replaced by a dingy burger place called Epic Burger, which would go on to become permanently closed. However, if you and your family need a good burger with a great atmosphere, good service, affordable prices, and one of those super awesome Coca-Cola machines with the 100 different sodas, then you’re in luck. Only about a 20-30 minute drive, depending on your speed and traffic, you can find yourself in the Parsippany Fuddruckers on Route 46!

When you pull up you may notice it’s a joint facility, as it shares it building with a bar, in which you can go for some pre-game or a good alcoholic beverage, though alcohol is served at the Fuddruckers as well. If you feel so inclined, you can also stay at the hotel that shares the same parking lot!

When you walk in, you are greeted by two sweet claw games, that probably aren’t jipped like those at the shore. While you do have to wait in a roped line, you get to smell the sweet aroma of meat and potatoes as you wait. It’s set up like a cafeteria, as you order your burger, side, drink, all that nonsense, then get a buzzer and wait for it to be brought out and put under a neat little heat lamp. The staff is rather good and you usually won’t find yourself waiting long for your food. The burger is completely customizable, and you can make it however you want it. Cold condiments and additions are found in a salad-bar like fashion, and hot additions like (bacon) are ordered at register. With several televisions in different angles, you can watch the game, pretty much wherever you sit. This is not to say that they’re distracting from whom you’re dining with or by yourself, as they’re up a bit high. The furnishings in the second room is a bit homely, with a nice fireplace and corner booths. In the main room you can enjoy some raised and ground level booths.

Perhaps the one downside comes when you compare it to the old Fuddruckers in Wayne, what with its arcade and carousel. However, if you’re looking for a friendly burger joint, within reasonable driving distance, and miss that Fuddruckers flavor, then Parsippany Fuddruckers on Route. 46 is the place for you!
