On December 3 and 4, the National Art Honor Society held their annual tie-dye fundraiser. During this event, students came and tie-dyed an article of clothing. The National Art Honor Society successfully raised over one hundred dollars, and plan to put their profits toward an art related field trip for everyone in the society.
The turnout was fantastic; a lot of people signed up. A handful of teachers brought their own kids to enjoy the crafty fun, too. Many kids dyed t-shirts, but the option to dye any piece you wanted was open. Students were also able to order something from the school to dye.
All of the pieces were amazing and original, and students involved had a lot of fun making unique tie-dye art. The great thing about tie-dye is how easy it really is. It’s a simple creative project anyone can do. Each piece is unique to the student who took the time to create it. The clothes were all so vibrant; the students really did an amazing job creating their own tie-dyed pieces.
Props to the National Art Honor Society for making this year’s event fun and easy for everyone. Don’t miss out in this great event next year!
