Bellvale Bog is top-notch

The award winning Bellvale Creamery, located in Warwick, New York, specializes in homemade ice cream, waffle cones, ice cream cake, and ice cream pies. Whether it’s summer, spring, or fall, there are always people waiting in line for a one-of-a-kind ice cream treat. You can get anything from the classics like chocolate and vanilla to their special Bellvale Bog, which contains my favorite, dark chocolate ice cream with brownie batter and fudge swirl.
When you first arrive, you see the unimaginably beautiful scenery of Warwick Valley. Once you walk in, you are greeted by the friendly staff who are happy to serve you. It is a small building, but there’s something about it that makes it feel so cozy and special. While I was there, I got to meet their cow named Adora Bell. Even though she was not real, she was a cute decoration that lit up the place. I got pumpkin flavored ice cream in one of their homemade waffle cones and it was delicious; it may have been the best ice cream I have ever had.
The fun didn’t stop there! I got to go on a hayride to visit their five-acre pumpkin patch. Pumpkin picking is one of my favorite fall activities and I was able to get two great big orange pumpkins that I’m excited to carve for Halloween. Not only was it fun, but I was surrounded by colorful trees, cornfields, and fresh, crisp air, which only made the experience feel even better.
With a breathtaking view of Warwick Valley and some homemade ice cream, I had a truly great time. If you go, you will quickly realize why this is on Tripadvisor’s Top Ten Ice Cream Shops in the United States. I can’t wait until my next trip back for more delicious ice cream and maybe I’ll see you there!
