Tree Lighting shines

Christmas is coming — and the West Milford Township Tree Lighting was the perfect way to kick off the holidays! On December 5, the town came together in order to celebrate the happiest season of the year!
It was truly a unifying event due to the mass amount of people in attendance. The West Milford High School Band, Choir, and Boy and Girl Scouts from town all gathered to sing holiday songs for the general public. Christmas spirit spread as West Milford residents gathered around the Christmas tree to hear Christmas carols with their neighbors, friends, and family.
The festivities didn’t stop there! The Tree Lighting featured a special visit and free pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. If you have any younger siblings or cousins, even, it is recommended to bring them to the Tree Lighting next year. After all, nothing beats the bright smiles of children during the holidays!
If you weren’t able to attend the event this year, don’t hesitate to come next year! Stopping by the annual Christmas Lighting will guarantee you to leave with a jolly spirit and a warm heart.
