Everyone’s favorite mascot has some exciting news to announce! On one of the sunny late winter days we had in February, Bucky arranged for his well-thought out promposal to take place. You might have noticed that Bucky often fawns over Doereen. They are seen frolicking in the fields behind the school, and she always makes doe eyes at him in the halls. They’ve finally made it official!
Bucky spent hours preparing his clever sign, which reads, “I’m hunting for a date…you game? Prom?” Bucky said, “It took me forever to glue on all of those wood chips. They kept getting stuck in my hooves and the glue got all over my fur, but it was worth it. Doereen is the love of my life; I love her deerly.”
His witty pun won over Doereen’s heart and she was such a deer when she said yes. “I had no ideer he was planning this; but I’m glad he did. I can’t wait to buy my dress! I think a nice camouflage would be perfect!” We wish the happy couple the best of times at prom!
